The televised action on MLK Day gets underway with the battle of New York as the Brooklyn Nets will be sent on the short road trip to face the New York Knicks. TNT will air a doubleheader on Monday Night. In game number one the Portland Trailblazers will continue their four game road swing as they face the Houston Rockets. They begin in Houston at 8PM Eastern Time over TNT TV. It’s been a great start to the road trip for the Trailblazers as they get wins at San Antonio and Dallas and look for the Texas Triangle sweep on Monday. The Rockets have been very inconsistent this season but recently are winners of four of their past five games.

Game two of the night time twin bill will feature the top team this year in the Eastern conference the Indiana Pacers hitting the road to battle the Golden St Warriors. They get underway from Golden St at 10:30PM Eastern Time with TNT providing the broadcast coast to coast. Indiana is the number one team in the Eastern conference as they hold a four game lead in the loss column over Miami. Golden St plays their first home game after a two game road trip.
