It all gets underway on NBA TV at 7PM Eastern Time as the Washington Wizards will be home to the Denver Nuggets. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Washington Wizards favored by -1 ½ points with the total set at 219 ½ points. With the NBA regular season winding down it is a good time to look at the playoff implications. Washington is secure to make the playoffs as the team sits in the sixth seed. They sit just one game back of the fourth seeded Philadelphia 76ers which would bring home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Denver is on the outside looking in the Western conference. Nuggets hold the ninth seed sitting two games back of the eighth seeded Utah Jazz. Denver broke a two game losing streak after their 135-102 road victory at Chicago on Wednesday. But recent losses at lottery teams on the road to Memphis and LA Lakers could cost the Nuggets a playoff berth. Wizards have dropped three of their past five games after a 98-90 road defeat at San Antonio on Wednesday. Wizards have been playing poorly on defense in recent games.

The late night game begins at 10PM Eastern Time on NBA TV as the Portland Trailblazers host Boston Celtics. Portland is favored by -7 points with the total lined at 203 points. Trailblazers look like they cannot be better than their three seed. They hold a two game lead on the fifth seeded Oklahoma City Thunder for home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Boston is in the second seed in the Eastern conference behind the Toronto Raptors by 4 ½ gamds. Portland had their 13 game win streak ended in their 115-111 home defeat on Tuesday to Houston. Boston is dealing with injuries to Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart. Now guard Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable with a concussion. Brown averages 14 points and five rebounds per game. Boston starts this west coast trip after a one point home win to Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
