It all begins at 7PM Eastern Time with Game 1 of the Eastern conference semifinals on TNT TV as the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Toronto Raptors. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Cleveland Cavaliers favored by -6 ½ points with the over under line set at 208 ½ points. Cleveland made quick work of the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs. The Cavaliers were a weak defensive team during the regular season and didn’t show improvement in their first round series sweep of the Pacers. Cavaliers talent was enough to just outscore the Pacers which they did in all four games while giving up high point totals along with high shooting percentages to Indiana. Toronto got healthy at the right time and after falling behind 2-1 to Milwaukee in the opening round the Raptors won the final three games behind strong defensive play. Most pundits agree that the Toronto Raptors are the best defensive team left in the Eastern conference playoffs. DeMar DeRozan was on during the first round and had 32 points in the closeout victory against Milwaukee.

At 9:30PM Eastern Time on TNT TV the San Antonio Spurs have a home date with the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of their Western conference semifinal round. San Antonio is favored by -5 ½ points with the over under line set at 213 points. Houston made quick work of Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder winning in five games. Had it not been for a James Harden game tying three missing in Game 3 the Rockets may have swept the Thunder. San Antonio a number two seed in the West was taken to six games by a poor shooting Memphis Grizzlies team. Spurs went up 2-0 on Memphis then lost both games on the road as the series was tied at 2-2. San Antonio then won the final two games to advance to face the Rockets.
