Cleveland entered Game 4 with determination and focus to not get swept in this series and win 137-116 covering as a 4 ½ point underdog. Golden St now leads 3-1 in this series and can close out at home. Ironically the series was in favor of Golden St 3-1 heading back to Golden St last year and the Cavaliers were able to win three straight. Cavaliers had a very good first half scoring 49 first quarter points and 86 at the half. Cavs were hot shooters from three point range making 24 of 45. Kyrie Irving was hot as he led the Cavs with 40 points while Lebron contributed with 31 points. Kevin Love struggled in Game 3 as he connected on 1 of 9 shots. He responded with a 23 point game and shot 50% from the field. Golden St suffered their first loss of the playoffs to move to 15-1. It was a cold shooting game for the Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant who all four shoots for below 50% from the field. The four combined for 23 of 62 from the field and only 9 of 34 from three point range. There has been a lot of heat on Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson who has not been productive in the NBA Finals. In the game 4 victory the Cleveland center finished with ten rebounds. Golden St never led in this game and fell behind by double digits early in the game. Warriors forward Draymond Green made comments about spraying champagne in Cleveland and it got the attention of the Cleveland Cavaliers players to help provide motivation for the team down 0-3.
