The New Orleans Pelicans are alive for a playoff spot as they host the Toronto Raptors. The Pelicans and Raptors get things started from New Orleans at 8PM Eastern Time and NBA TV has the coast to coast broadcast. New Orleans has been inconsistent throughout the season trading wins with losses. All Star Anthony Davis had trouble staying healthy as he has played in only 48 of the Pelicans 55 games. He has a sore shoulder and has been listed as questionable. Three point sharpshooter Ryan Anderson had to leave the game on Saturday with his sprained knee. Anderson missed 60 regular season games for New Orleans last year. With a 14 point road win at Miami on Saturday the Pelicans broke a four game losing streak. Toronto sits as the second seed in the Eastern Conference. They are fifth in the NBA in point scored by pushing across 105 points per game on the year. Kyle Lowry has led the club with 18 points and seven rebounds per game.

The late night game out west will feature two bitter Western conference playoff rivals as the LA Clippers will host the Memphis Grizzlies at 10:30PM Eastern Time on NBA TV. The Clippers are in a tight race along with the Grizzlies in the Western conference to find a favorable seed in the post season. Through Saturday’s action the Grizzlies were a two seed and the Clippers were tied for fourth. LA has won three straight since losing five of six games to start their Grammy road trip. Blake Griffin remains sidelined for at least 2-3 more weeks with an elbow injury. Memphis plays this game on a back to back after playing at Portland on Sunday. The Grizzlies are holding teams to 95 points a game ranking number one in the league. A negative for this club has been their three point shooting as they hit 34% from the field ranking 21st in the NBA.
