The action gets underway at 8:30PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Cleveland Cavaliers are home to the Boston Celtics. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Cleveland Cavaliers favored by -6 ½ points with the total set at 206 ½ points.

After the first two games of this series the Celtics went up 2-0 with double digit wins on their home court. The Cavalier supporting cast gave very little support to LeBron James in those games at Boston. Cleveland got within 2-1 of Boston with the 116-86 victory at home in Game 3. Cavs got off to a fast start going up 15 after one period and it was 61-41 at the half. It was a good shooting performance by the Cavaliers hitting on 48.7% and 17 of 34 from three point range. LeBron James had 27 points and 12 rebounds. Cleveland finished with a total of six players in double digits. Kyle Korver off the bench had 14 points as he made 4 of 4 from three point range. Kevin Love was a force in the paint as he grabbed 14 rebounds. Cleveland left no doubt in Game 3 as the team jumped out to the 20-4 lead powered by a 13-0 run. Cavaliers led by no fewer than 19 points in the second half of the game.

Boston struggled from the field in the loss hitting on 39.7% making only 6 of 22 from three point range. They did not take care of the basketball with 15 turnovers. Al Horford had his streak of scoring in double digits in every playoff game this year broken as he finished with seven points attempting only 4 shots and making two. Head coach Brad Stevens was upset at his team feeling they did not give their best effort in the defeat. They pulled down 11 fewer rebounds than the Celtics. It will be interesting to see how the series plays out the rest of the way. The teams now play every other day so that may aid the younger legs of the Boston Celtics and LeBron James may wear a bit as he is forced to carry most of the load in this series.
