It all gets underway at 3:30PM Eastern Time on ABC TV as the Houston Rockets will host the Oklahoma City Thunder. Houston enters play with a record of 37-39 after a 103-100 loss at Chicago on Thursday. The Rockets were scrappy in defeat as they nearly overcame a considerable deficit late in the game. They were able to get a clear three point attempt from Trevor Ariza as time expired but the shot was missed. The loss hurt the Rockets playoff chances as the team with just six games remaining sits one full game behind the Utah Jazz for the eighth seed and final post season spot in the Western conference. Oklahoma City sits in the third seed in the west and can go no higher. They hold a 5 ½ game lead over the LA Clippers for the three seed with six games left to be played. OKC has been hot winners of nine of their past ten games after defeating the Clippers by two on Thursday.

On NBA TV at 8PM Eastern Time the Golden St Warriors will host the Portland Trailblazers. The Warriors in an attempt to set the regular season best record ever in the NBA stubbed their toe with the 109-106 home defeat to Boston on Friday. They sit with a record of 68-8 and must go 5-1 in their final six games to break the Chicago Bulls record. The team is a certain lock for home court throughout the NBA playoffs. The loss broke a six game win streak for the Warriors. It was a sloppy performance by Golden St as they committed 22 turnovers and as a result allowed the Celtics to shoot 47.1% from the floor. Stephen Curry committed nine of the Warriors turnovers. Portland looks to be a playoff team with a record of 40-36 after their seven point home victory to Boston on Thursday. They sit in the sixth seed in the west and have a three game lead over the ninth seeded Houston Rockets. Portland is on a back to back as they host Miami on Saturday.
