The LA Lakers showed good growth early in the season as they were improved defensively and winning games. They have lost their point guard Lonzo Ball and have dropped nine straight games as the team is having issues scoring points. Atlanta has been competitive in recent games but look to rebound after a 110-89 road defeat at Portland on Friday. They had covered six of eight games prior to their loss at Portland.
