The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Portland Trailblazers favored by -3 ½ points with the over under line of 225 points. Thunder have had success against the Trailblazers this season by posting four wins in their four meetings on the season. Portland suffered a huge loss on the court as they lose center Nurkic for the season with a leg injury. This will create issues around the basket for Portland as Russell Westbrook could have a clear path to the rim as the point guard is very aggressive on the offensive end. Paul George has been listed as questionable with a shoulder ailment that has hampered him during the final games of the regular season. Thunder was hit with difficult scheduling in the final month of the season and had the look of a team that was worn out. They did rally at the end of the season by posting five straight victories to enter the fifth seed in the west.

At 9:30PM Eastern Time on TNT TV the Houston Rockets host the Utah Jazz. Houston is favored by -6 points with the over under set at 214 points. The teams split their two regular season meetings on the season with each winning at home and on the road. Utah made strong strides down the stretch of the regular season to try and earn home court in the first round of the playoffs. It fell short though the team won eight of their final ten games. They dealt with nagging injuries late in the regular season, but probable is Mitchell, Rubio and Gorbert. Kyle Korver is listed as questionable with a knee injury. Houston dealt with injuries during the regular season but finally in the final month of the season they were able to get Paul, Capela, Harden and Gordon all healthy and on the court together. Rockets have had disappointments in the past playoffs as the shots didn’t go in as well as they did in the regular season.
