With only four games remaining for the Boston Celtics trail the Cleveland Cavaliers for best record in the Eastern conference by one game. Atlanta with their March skid has fallen to the sixth seed and hold only a 1 ½ game lead over the ninth seeded Indiana Pacers for a playoff spot as the fifth and ninth seed are only separated by two games. Boston will need to bounce back from a bad home loss on Wednesday to the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-91 as a 4 point favorite. The top spot in the East was on the line and the Celtics had two full days of rest while the Cavaliers were on a back to back. Atlanta looks to break a two game losing streak after dropping a 91-82 road decision to Brooklyn on Sunday.

The late night game begins at 10:30PM Eastern Time on TNT TV as the Portland Trailblazers will host the Minnesota Timberwolves. Portland is favored by -6 points with an over under line set at 218 ½ points. The Trailblazers are clinging to a one game leader over the Denver Nuggets for the final playoff spot in the Western conference. Since Portland owns the tiebreaker it is actually two games Denver must make up in the standings. Minnesota has been eliminated from the post season. Portland was sitting on a six game winning streak until dropping back to back road games at Utah and Minnesota. Timberwolves has been hampered by a lack of defense all season long. They dropped a 121-107 road decision at Golden St Tuesday.
