The action gets underway at 8PM Eastern Time on NBA TV as the Chicago Bulls will host the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls sit at 20-12 after a road victory on Sunday to the Toronto Raptors. With the coaching change in the offseason the Bulls want to be a more up tempo team this season. They do sit 13th in the NBA in scoring as they put up 101.7 points per game on the year. They are a very good three point shooting team hitting 36.6% from beyond the arc. Defense has remained good in Chicago as the club ranks first in the NBA in field goal defense by allowing 41.7% shooting to their opponents. Jimmy Butler has taken the reign away from Derrick Rose in the Windy City. Butler leads the Bulls with 21.8 points per game average and is shooting 45.7% from the field. Milwaukee is 14-21 on the campaign as they host San Antonio on Monday night. The Bucks will be on a back to back in this spot. As they traveled to meet the Spurs the Bucks have won two straight win road wins at Indiana and Minnesota. The team sits in the upper third of the league in shooting as they make 45.9% from the field along with 36.4% from beyond the arc.

The late night game will get going at 10:30PM Eastern Time over NBA TV as the LA Lakers will host the Golden St Warriors. The Warriors are 31-2 on the season as they will host the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night. They have responded with two straight victories after their road loss at Dallas on December 30th. Stephen Curry has been bothered by a leg injury but he saw 14 minutes of play in his return to the lineup on Saturday and had five points in the overtime home victory to Denver. The Lakers sit 8-27 on the campaign and will be on a three game win streak. They come off a home 97-77 victory to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night. Their other victories in this streak came at home to Philadelphia and on the road to the Boston Celtics.
