The action gets going at 7:30PM Eastern Time on NBA TV as the New York Knick will host the Oklahoma City Thunder. The teams met back on November 20th with the Knicks posting the 93-90 road upset victory at OKC as a +6 ½ point underdog. New York has won two straight against the Thunder. Carmelo Anthony poured in 25 points and grabbed five rebounds in the victory. It was an awful shooting night for the Thunder as they made 38% from the field and a poor 3 of 29 from three point range. It is worth noting that Kevin Durant did not play in this game. The Thunder will have a day of rest after a humbling 116-106 road defeat on Sunday to the Brooklyn Nets as a -13 ½ point favorite. That loss broke a string of seven straight victories. The Thunder has allowed 104 points or greater in three of their past four games. It was a bad defensive effort for the Thunder as they allowed a bad Nets team to shoot nearly 48% from the floor. The supporting cast for Durant and Westbrook failed the team. Westbrook had 27 points and Durant contributed with 32 points in the loss. The Knicks have been battling to get over .500. The team is 22-24 after a road defeat 97-84 at Charlotte on Saturday night. It is now two straight losses for the Knicks.

The late night game tips off at 10:30PM Eastern Time on NBA TV as the LA Lakers is home to the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers sit near the bottom of the league with a record of 9-37. They have lost six straight after an 18 point road defeat at Portland on Saturday. LA has allowed 108 points or greater in nine of their past ten games. Dallas after a good start has tapered off a bit to drop to 25-21. They are an old team and the fear is they could falter down the stretch. They have lost two straight after dropping an 11 point road decision at Houston on Sunday.
