The action begins at 8PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Toronto Raptors will host the Miami Heat. This will be the third meeting of the season between these two Eastern conference contenders. Both games were held in Miami with each team winning once. They last met back on December 18th with Toronto posting the 108-94 road victory and cover as a +4 ½ point underdog. The Raptors had a great shooting performance in that victory as they shot 51%. DeMar DeRozan had 30 points to lead Toronto as he made 10 of his 17 shots. Dwayne Wade had 21 points in the loss and he contributed with six rebounds and five assists. Miami looks to break a three game losing streak as they continue their road trip. On Wednesday the Heat played at Washington and was beat 106-87. This will be Miami’s eighth road game in nine games. The team has its struggles hitting threes as they rank 24th in the NBA by making 33.1% from beyond the arc. Toronto has momentum entering this meeting with Miami with six straight victories after a 115-109 home victory on Wednesday to the Boston Celtics. The Raptors have defended well this season by giving up 97.2 points a game which is fourth best in the league.

The late night game goes off at 10:30PM Eastern Time on ESPN as the Golden St Warriors will welcome into town the Indiana Pacers. In their first meeting of the year back on December 8th it was the Warriors with the 131-123 victory on the road against the Pacers and covering as a -5 ½ point favorite. Golden St has built a 28 point lead after three quarters and shot nearly 55% in the victory. The Warriors return home off a 2-1 road trip. After an 18 point road defeat at Detroit the team blew out Cleveland by 34 on the road and the Bulls by 31 on the road. Indiana is 1-1 on this west coast trip with a loss by three at Denver and a three point victory at Phoenix.
