The New Orleans Pelicans will play host to the Chicago Bulls on NBA TV starting at 7PM Eastern Time. It has been an up and down season for New Orleans as the team has hovered around the .500 mark for much of this season. As a result the team currently sits outside the playoffs as they occupy the ninth seed in the Western conference trailing the eighth seeded Phoenix Suns by one game. They will be on a back to back on Saturday as the team players at Oklahoma City on Friday. Chicago will be a rested team after they lose on Wednesday at Houston by the score of 101-90 as James Harden has a big game. The Bulls have lost three straight games and are 1-3 on this six game road trip with an overtime win at Golden St.

On NBA League Pass channel at 7PM Eastern Time the Washington Wizards will be home against the Brooklyn Nets. Washington will host Brooklyn on a slump as the team has lost five straight games after a seven point defeat at Charlotte on Thursday. The team has been held to 96 or fewer points in their past three games. Brooklyn sits at 20-28 and are a ninth seed sitting ½ game behind the eighth seeded Miami Heat in the East. The Nets have been an inconsistent team going through several slumps and win streaks to drive their fan base nuts.

Two Western Conference playoff contenders meet at 8:30PM Eastern Time as the Dallas Mavericks will be at home playing the Portland Trailblazers on NBA League Pass Channel. Portland and Dallas have comfortable spots in the playoffs. In the West five teams are within three games of each other from seed 3-7. After a bad road trip the Trailblazers returned home with wins against the Suns and Jazz. Dallas has won four of their past five games after a 23 point win at Sacramento on Thursday night.
