Two playoff contenders meet at 3:30PM Eastern Time on NBA League Pass Channel as the Milwaukee Bucks will host the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks will enter play losers of two straight. They hit the All Star Break with a one point road defeat at Boston on a fourth quarter meltdown. On Friday night they came off the break and were defeated by Toronto at home 105-80. The Hawks had four of their starters and head coach represented at the All Star Game so there may have been a little hangover from that spot. Milwaukee was active on the trading deadline as they received last year’s rookie of the year Michael Carter Williams. He did not dress in the Bucks 89-81 home victory against Denver on Friday night. In head coach Jason Kidd’s first year with Milwaukee his team is defending very well as they are number four in defensive field goal percentage and number three in defending the three.

The upstart Detroit Pistons will be home to the Washington Wizards at 3:30PM Eastern Time on NBA League Pass Channel. Washington continued their struggles as the team is beaten badly on Friday to the Cleveland Cavaliers on their home court 127-89. Guard Bradley Beal has been injured and has missed four games due to a leg injury. He is expected to return to the lineup on Sunday. With the defeat on Friday the Wizards have dropped seven of nine games. Detroit returned off the break by posting a 9 point home win to the Chicago Bulls as a +6 point underdog. The Pistons are 1 ½ games back of Charlotte for the final playoff spot in the East.

Two Western conference heavyweights go head to head at 9PM Eastern Time on NBA League Pass Channel as the Portland Trailblazers will host the Memphis Grizzlies. Ironically this will be the Grizzlies first game back since the All Star Break. Memphis last played a game way back on February 11th. Portland was embarrassed in their first game back from the All Star Break in a 92-76 road defeat on Friday to Utah.
