The Big Ten conference is featured over ESPN at 12PM Eastern Time as the Michigan St Spartans will host the Ohio St Buckeyes. The Buckeyes are 8-4 in the Big Ten and in a four way tie included with Michigan St in the loss column for second place. After a two point loss at Purdue early in the month the Buckeyes have responded with blowout wins at Rutgers by 19 points and home to Penn St by 20 points. Last Saturday Michigan St dropped a surprising five point home decision to Illinois as poor free throw shooting led to the loss. The Spartans bounced back on Tuesday with a 24 point road win at Northwestern.

On CBS TV at 1PM Eastern Time it will be a battle between two Big 12 conference schools as the Kansas Jayhawks will host the Baylor Bears. Kansas plays extremely well on the home court. The team is a perfect 11-0 at home as they average 79 points per game and hit nearly 48% of their shots. After posting an impressive 18 point road win at West Virginia last Saturday the Baylor Bears returned home on Monday and get beaten by Oklahoma St by nine points.

From the ACC conference at 6PM Eastern Time it’s the Syracuse Orange playing host to the Duke Blue Devils. There will be no post season play for Syracuse this year so this becomes the biggest game they will play all season. Duke is no stranger to getting the best effort from an opponent. The Blue Devils are 6-2 on the road this season.

The SMU Mustangs are featured in prime time on ESPN at 9PM Eastern Time as they host an AAC conference battle against the Connecticut Huskies. SMU doesn’t look like they will be the snub of the NCAA Tournament like they were last year. The Mustangs are 20-5 overall and 11-2 in conference. They swept Connecticut in their two meetings last year. The Huskies carries a three game win streak after a 25 point home blowout win against Tulsa on Thursday. At 14-9 Connecticut must finish strong if they are to make the NCAA Tournament.
