Two Big Ten March Madness hopefuls take the court at 7PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Indiana Hoosiers are home to the Purdue Boilermakers. In the latest brackets by Joe Lunardi the Hoosiers are lined as seventh seed and the Purdue Boilermakers are one of the First Four out of the NCAA Tournament. It will be a revenge situation for the Hoosiers as Purdue scored the 83-67 home victory back on January 28th. The Boilermakers had a very good shooting night hitting on over 58% of their shots in the win. Purdue has played very well of late as the club has won two straight and six of their past seven games. Indiana is 3-4 over their past four games after a 90-71 home victory on Sunday to Minnesota. The Hoosiers have been a very good home team with a mark of 15-1 and hitting 51% of their shots on their home court.

It’s an AAC conference showdown at 7PM Eastern Time on ESPN2 as the SMU Mustangs will host the Temple Owls. Both Temple and SMU appear safely in the NCAA Tournament. SMU won the first meeting of the year between these schools on January 14th in a 60-55 road win. Both teams enter play hot. SMU has won nine of ten games and the Temple Owls will carry a seven game winning streak into this game.

On ESPN TV at 9PM Eastern Time the Memphis Tigers will be home to the Connecticut Huskies. Neither team is in Joe Lunardi’s bracket and must finish strong to earn an At Large bid into the dance. The Huskies had their four game win streak snapped on Saturday in an 18 point road loss SMU. Memphis already has four losses on their home court. Their two game losing streak was snapped on Sunday in a 23 point road win at South Florida.
