Game 1 begins at 7PM Eastern Time as the Syracuse Orange will play host to the Louisville Cardinals. There will be no postseason for Syracuse with their self-imposed penalty. Louisville tries and recovers from a bad 74-65 home defeat on Saturday to NC State. In Joe Lunardi’s bracket the Cardinals are clinging to a #4 seed. They have struggled from the three point line this year hitting 30% ranking 312th in the nation.

The nightcap over ESPN will be a rivalry game starting at 9PM Eastern Time as the Duke Blue Devils will host the North Carolina Tar Heels. Both teams appear as locks for the NCAA Tournament. Duke is 11-1 on their home court this season. They have won three of their past four games against North Carolina. The Blue Devils carry a five game win streak into this game. North Carolina has stubbed their toe of late losers of three of their past four games after a 13 point road defeat at Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Over on ESPN2 at 7PM Eastern Time a rivalry contest is on tap as the Cincinnati Bearcats will host the Xavier Musketeers. Xavier is a #9 seed and Cincinnati a #10 seed in the latest brackets. This in-city rivalry has been dominated by the home team as they have won the past five meetings and nine of ten. Cincinnati looks to break a two game losing streak after a bad home loss to Tulane on Saturday.

At 9PM Eastern Time on ESPN2 it’s a PAC 12 conference showdown as the Arizona St Sun Devils will welcome into town the red hot UCLA Bruins. After a rough start to the season the UCLA Bruins have shown great improvement on the court. They have won two straight and five of six games to move their record to 16-10. The Bruins are currently an 11th seed in the major brackets and one of the final four teams in. Arizona St looks to be battling for an NIT berth at 13-12 overall. They picked up a 10 point road win at Washington on Sunday.
