Appalachian St is favored by -6 ½ points with the total set at 50 points. Appalachian St finished off the regular season as the champions of the Sun Belt conference. They finished on a five game win streak after beating Louisiana at home in the Sun Belt title game. Middle Tennessee St failed in their opportunity to win the Conference USA championship game losing at home to UAB 27-25. Blue Raiders are a good passing team throwing for 254 yards and completing 69.1% of their passes.
