The action gets underway at 8PM Eastern Time on FOX Sports 1 TV as the Florida Atlantic Owls will host the Miami Hurricanes. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road team Miami Hurricanes the -17 ½ point favorite with the total lined at 55 ½ points.

These teams met in 2013 and it was Miami with the 34-6 home victory against Florida Atlantic but fail to cover as a -31 point favorite. The Hurricanes began their 2015 season at home facing FCS school Bethune Cookman and coming away with the 45-0 victory as a -39 point favorite. Sophomore quarterback Brad Kaaya returns for the Hurricanes under center. A year ago he passed for nearly 3200 yards with 26 touchdowns and 12 picks. His big issue last year was his performance on the road. The home and road splits have wide discrepancies. We will see if Kaaya can improve numbers this year away from home. Florida Atlantic faced Tulsa on the road to open their 2015 season. It was a tough loss for the Owls and they fell in overtime 47-44 on the road but did cover the spread as a +3 ½ point underdog.

On ESPN2 TV at 9PM Eastern Time it’s an instate rivalry game as the Utah Utes are home to the Utah St Aggies. The home side Utah Utes are -13 ½ point favorite with the over under line set at 44 ½ points.

In their previous meeting on August 29th of 2013 it was Utah struggling through a 30-26 home victory against the Aggies. Utah St actually outgained the Utes as they piled up 487 yards of offense while giving up 450 yards to Utah. Utah St was unimpressive offensively in a 12-9 home victory in their opener last week to FCS school Southern Utah. The Utah Utes hosted Michigan at home and came up with some big plays on defense as they defeated the Wolverines 24-17 as a -5 point favorite.
