The Fiesta Bowl gets underway at 1PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Ohio St Buckeyes will face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Ohio St is favored by -6 ½ points with the total coming in at 57 ½ points. The Ohio St defense will be tested greatly by the dynamic offense of Notre Dame in this game. The Buckeyes crushed rivals Michigan entering their bowl game while Notre Dame suffered a close loss to Stanford to greatly damage their playoff hopes.

At 1PM Eastern Time on ABC TV it’s the Citrus Bowl as the Florida Gators will meet the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan is favored by -4 points with the total lined at 38 ½ points. Two strong defenses with weak offenses collide in this game with a very low total.

The Rose Bowl goes off at 5PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Iowa Hawkeyes will face the Stanford Cardinal. Stanford is favored by -6 points with the total lined at 53 points. This sets up to be a very physical battle at the line of scrimmage. Senior quarterback Kevin Hogan and running back Christian McCaffrey gives the Cardinal an edge in this contest.

The last of the five games goes off at 8:30PM Eastern Time in the Sugar Bowl as the Mississippi Rebels will battle the Oklahoma St Cowboys over on ESPN. Ole Miss is lined as a -7 point favorite with the total set at 67 ½ points. Figures to be a very high scoring game as both defenses has struggled to defend the pass.
