The action gets underway at 8PM Eastern Time on ESPN as the Rice Owls are home to the Baylor Bears. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road team Baylor Bears favored by -30 ½ points with the total coming in at 65 ½ points. Baylor crushed Rice in their meeting in 2015 by the score of 70-17 at home. The Bears didn’t look good in the first half last week at home to SMU where it was 6-6 after 30 minutes. Baylor then went on for the 40-13 victory. Rice is home for the first time this season after back to back road losses to open 2016 at Western Kentucky and Army by double digits.

On ESPN2 at 9PM Eastern Time the Utah St Aggies have a home date with the Arkansas St Redwolves. The Aggies are favored by -9 points with the total lined at 56 ½ points. Arkansas St had to replace a good quarterback from their program in Fredi Knighten and the offensive production has slowed down in a 31-10 home defeat to Toledo and last week they dropped a 51-14 decision at Auburn. Utah St faced their first FBS opponent of the season last week and was crushed losing 45-7 at USC. The Aggies struggled in pass defense and had a difficult time running the football.

The late night game at 9:30 PM Eastern Time on CBS Sports Network has the Texas San Antonio Roadrunners hosting the Arizona St Sun Devils. Arizona St is favored by -19 points with the over under set at 60 ½ points. Arizona St is 2-0 with victories at home against Northern Arizona and Texas Tech. They put up 68 points last week on the Red Raiders but surrendered 55 points in the process. First year starting quarterback Manny Wilkins is a sophomore running style quarterback who is putting up big numbers through the air and on the ground. Texas San Antonio was competitive last week in a 23-14 road defeat at Colorado St.
