Illinois is 2-1 and coming off a loss at home to South Florida in a game they had in hand after three quarters. Fighting Illini blew a 19-7 lead after three quarters giving up 18 unanswered fourth quarter points. Illinois is allowing 480 yards per game to opposing offense with 325 yards passing.

The late night game kicks off at 10:30PM Eastern Time on ESPN with the USC Trojans at home facing the Washington St Cougars. USC is favored by -3 ½ points with the over under of 53 points. USC returns home after back to back losses on the road to Stanford and Texas. Trojans young playmakers on offense has struggled by scoring a total of 17 points in the past two games. Washington St lost twelve starters from last year including seven on offense. This is the first major test for the Cougars after picking up wins against Wyoming, San Jose St and Eastern Washington.
