It all gets underway at 12PM Eastern Time on ABC TV as the Houston Cougars will host the Oklahoma Sooners. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road team Oklahoma Sooners favored by -12 ½ points with the total coming in at 67 ½ points. Oklahoma returns playmakers to their passing game against a Houston team that struggled stopping the pass.

At 3:30PM Eastern Time on CBS TV the Texas A&M Aggies are home to the UCLA Bruins. Texas A&M is favored by -3 points with the total set at 53 points. There are questions marks on the Bruins sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen who struggled when facing pressure during his freshman career. Texas A&M saw their offensive numbers nosedive a season ago.

On ABC TV at 3:30PM Eastern Time the Wisconsin Badgers will face the LSU Tigers from Green Bay Wisconsin. LSU is favored by -10 points with the total set at 44 ½ points. Wisconsin defended very well last year. On offense they must replace Joel Stave. For LSU running back Leonard Fournette carries a big piece of the offensive load for the Tigers.

It will be an SEC versus PAC 12 showdown on ABC TV at 8PM Eastern Time as the Alabama Crimson Tide will battle the USC Trojans from Arlington Texas. Alabama is favored by -11 ½ points with the total set at 53 ½ points. Both teams break in first year starting quarterbacks. Question will be about the USC defense which has not been dominant since Pete Carroll left the program for the NFL. On offense the USC running game may be grounded against Alabama which could open the game up a bit if the Trojans go fast tempo and pass happy.

An attractive matchup is scheduled at 9PM Eastern Time on ESPN as the Auburn Tigers will host the Clemson Tigers. Clemson is favored by -7 points with the total coming in at 62 points. Clemson returns all of their offensive weapons from a year ago that averaged 38 points per game and put up 40 on Alabama in the championship game. Auburn struggled on offense and may have trouble trading points with Clemson.
