A rivalry is revisited at 12PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Pittsburgh Panthers are home to the Penn St Nittany Lions. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Pittsburgh Panthers favored by -6 points with the over under line of 48 points. These two restore their long time rivalry from seasons past. It’s a shame they haven’t met since way back in the 2000 season. It was a lackluster first half for Penn St in their 33-13 victory to Kent St on Saturday. Pittsburgh had a very good defensive effort in their week one victory at home to Villanova.

At 3:30PM Eastern Time on CBS TV the Florida Gators will host the Kentucky Wildcats. Florida is favored by -17 points with the total set at 47 ½ points. Kentucky must overcome the disappointment of blowing a 35-10 lead to Southern Mississippi that resulted in a home loss. The Gators struggled for three quarters last week at home to Massachusetts until they pulled away for the 24-7 home victory.

In primetime on ESPN at 7PM Eastern Time the TCU Horned Frogs host the Arkansas Razorbacks. TCU is lined as a -7 ½ point favorite with the over under of 58 ½ points. Arkansas got a major scare in Week 1 as they edged Louisiana Tech by the score of 21-20 and failing to cover as three touchdown favorites. TCU defeated FCS school South Dakota St 59-41. It was very disappointing that the Horned Frogs allowed 24 points at the half to an FCS school.

On ABC TV at 8PM Eastern Time from the Bristol Motor Speedway it’s the Tennessee Volunteers facing the Virginia Tech Hokies. Tennessee is favored by -11 ½ points with the total lined at 55 points. Tennessee avoided the upset last week as they got past Appalachian St in overtime. The Volunteers only gained 319 yards in the victory. Virginia Tech new head coach Justin Fuente took over as head coach over the retired Frank Beamer as he faces his first major test at his new school.
