The action begins at 7:30PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Virginia Tech Hokies will meet the West Virginia Mountaineers from Fed Ex Field. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the Virginia Tech Hokies favored by -4 points with the total lined at 51 ½ points. West Virginia had a lot of turnover on the defensive side of the ball where they must replace eight starters. All their lineman on defense will be making their first start. Florida transfer Will Grier will get the start at quarterback for the Mountaineers. Mountaineers finished off their Big 12 play winning four of five then dropped a 31-14 decision to Miami in the Russell Athletic Bowl. Justin Fuente is in his second season with the Hokies. The offense and defense saw improvement in Fuente’s first season at the school. It will be a freshman getting the start at quarterback for the Hokies as Joshua Jackson will line up under center. One starter of the three at the wide receiver position return in 2017.

On FOX Sports 1 at 7:30PM Eastern Time it is the UCLA Bruins at home to face the Texas A&M Aggies. UCLA is favored by -3 ½ points with the total set at 56 ½ points. UCLA is coming of a poor season for head coach Jim Mora Jr. at 4-8 and missing a bowl. Quarterback Josh Rosen saw his season come to an end early due to injury then the Bruins offense tanked having trouble scoring points. The run game digressed greatly in 2016 as Mora Jr. was not able to reload the position as the Bruins finished with a 2.9 yards per carry average. No one was able to fil the shoes that Paul Perkins wore during his tenure at the school that ended following the 2015 campaign. Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin faces heavy pressure entering 2017 after posting an 8-5 mark last season. The Aggies beat the Bruins 31-24 in overtime in their meeting in 2016.
