The Birmingham Bowl gets the action started at 12PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Memphis Tigers will face the Auburn Tigers. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the Auburn Tigers favored by -3 points with the total lined at 63 points. Auburn struggled through inconsistency with their offense for much of their 6-6 regular season. They have been held to under 20 points in three of their past five games. Memphis was one of the surprise teams who had a shot at a New Year’s Day Six Bowl. Unfortunately a late three game losing streak derailed those hopes. They got back in the win column with a 63-0 home victory to SMU on November 28th.

The Belk Bowl is set to air on ESPN TV at 3:30PM Eastern Time and the Mississippi St Bulldogs will meet the North Carolina St Wolfpack. The Bulldogs are favored by -6 points with the total set at 60 points. Both teams enter play following losses to their in-state rival. NC State looks to bounce back following the 45-34 home defeat to North Carolina and Mississippi St dropped a 38-27 home decision to Ole Miss.

At 7PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV it’s the Music City Bowl as the Louisville Cardinals will face the Texas A&M Aggies. Louisville is lined as a -4 ½ point wagering favorite with the total lined at 47 points. Aggies head coach is dealing with several quarterback transfers out of Texas A&M that has concerned the powers that be. After a sluggish start Louisville rallied with wins in five of their past six games.

The late night game gets going at 10:30PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV in the Holiday Bowl as the Wisconsin Badgers will meet the USC Trojans. USC is favored by -3 ½ points with the total lined at 50 ½ points. USC has struggled on the defensive side of the football as they have dropped two of their past three games all by wide margin. Wisconsin faced a weak schedule in the Big Ten yet still dropped two games in conference to Northwestern and Iowa at home scoring no greater that seven points in each defeat.
