It begins at 1:30PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV with the Independence Bowl as the Florida St Seminoles meet Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the Florida St Seminoles favored by -17 points with the total set at 49. Florida St needed to reschedule a game with UL Monroe to become bowl eligible at 6-6 as they beat the Warhawks. An early season ending injury to starting quarterback Francois was too much to overcome for the Seminoles. Southern Miss is 8-4 and has won three straight after their one point victory at Marshall. Golden Eagles have a good passing attack as they throw for 249 yards per game.

On ESPN TV at 5:15PM Eastern Time it is the Pinstripe Bowl as the Boston College Eagles battle Iowa Hawkeyes. Iowa is favored by -2 ½ points with the total set at 45 ½ points. Boston College enters their bowl game winners of five of their past six games. They have a strong running attack with 224 yards per game. Iowa had their struggles on offense scoring under 20 points in six of their past nine games.

The Foster Farms Bowl kicks off at 8:30PM Eastern Time on FOX as Purdue Boilermakers meet Arizona Wildcats. Arizona is favored by -3 with the total of 65 ½ points. It was a nice turnaround for Purdue finishing at 6-6 after several down seasons. Purdue has won two straight to become bowl eligible with a road win at Iowa and at home to Indiana. Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate sparked this Arizona offense. But the defense struggled down the stretch as the team dropped three of four allowing 42 points or greater in those three defeats.

The Missouri Tigers face Texas Longhorns in the Texas Bowl at 9PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV. Missouri is favored by -2 ½ points with the total set at 60 ½ points. Missouri are winners of six straight after their 48-45 road victory at Arkansas. Tigers offense has scored 45 points or greater in all those six games. Texas fell to 6-6 as they blew a fourth quarter lead at home to Texas Tech 27-23 as a 7 ½ point favorite. Longhorns have the better defense as they limit teams to 368 yards and 21.7 points per game.
