On ESPN 2 TV at 7:30PM Eastern Time the Northern Illinois Huskies host the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Northern Illinois is favored by -5 points with the over under line of 54 points. Northern Illinois has taken several steps back with their program. Huskies sit at 4-6 and must win their final two games to become bowl eligible. Northern Illinois comes off the 31-28 road win at Toledo last week. Huskies are no longer a strong running team as the Huskies rush for only 3.6 yards per carry on an average of 36 carries per game. Eastern Michigan is 5-5 and one win away from bowl eligibility. The MAC conference gets a lot of their 6-6 teams snubbed from a bowl so if the Eagles want to be included into the bowl mix, they should win out to finish 7-5. Eagles come off the 42-14 road win at Akron last week. This broke a two game losing streak. Eastern Michigan also has issues running the football with only 3.6 yards per rush average on the season.
