The Rose Bowl from Pasadena kicks off at 5PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Wisconsin Badgers will battle the Oregon Ducks. Wisconsin is favored by -3 points with the total set at 51 ½ points. Oregon finished their regular season at 11-2 following their 37-15 win to Utah in the PAC 12 championship game. Ducks ran the ball effectively on the Utes for 239 yards. Wisconsin finishes at 10-3 in their regular season and backs into the Rose Bowl with their 34-21 defeat to Ohio St in the Big Ten Championship Game. Ohio St was selected for the college football playoff allowing Wisconsin to enter the Rose Bowl. Badgers defense surrendered 492 yards to the Buckeyes. Wisconsin lost two games to Ohio St and a road contest at Illinois.

At 8:45PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV it is the Sugar Bowl from New Orleans as the Georgia Bulldogs faces the Baylor Bears. Georgia is favored by -5 ½ points with the total set at 41 ½ points. Baylor finished their regular season at 11-2 after their 30-23 defeat in overtime to Oklahoma. Bears offense generated only 265 yards in defeat. Baylor lost twice to Oklahoma. Georgia will look to rebound after a 37-10 defeat to LSU in the SEC championship game. Bulldogs defense gave up 481 yards to the Tigers in the loss. Georgia defense held opponents to 274 yards per game.
