Boise St suffered some distraction last week as there was a stadium change due to weather. Broncos had to deal with the Florida heat and humidity but behind a strong second half comeback defeated Florida St 36-31. Broncos overcame a 31-19 halftime deficit. First year starting quarterback Hank Bachmeier hit on 30 of 51 passes for 407 yards with a touchdown and pick. Robert Mahone had a good rushing game with 142 yards and two touchdowns. Marshall has been a good defensive team the past two seasons. They held opponents to 20 points per game last year. They opened with VMI at home last week winning 56-17. Thundering Herd held the Keydets to 257 yards with 56 on the ground for 2.1 per attempt. Marshall offensively posted 620 yards with 280 on the ground for 6.1 per attempt.
