At 7:30PM Eastern Time on ABC TV the Michigan Wolverines have a home date with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Notre Dame is favored by -1 with the total lined at 51 ½ points. When these teams met last season, it was Notre Dame posting the 24-17 road win. Fighting Irish coming off the bye week after their 30-27 home win to USC to run their record to 5-1. Michigan fell to 5-2 as they failed to rally back from an early 21-0 early deficit with their 28-21 defeat at Penn St last week. Wolverines notable home win came in a 10-3 win to Iowa.
