The late night game tips at 9:40PM Eastern Time from San Diego on TBS TV as the West Virginia Mountaineers battle in state foe Marshall Thundering Herd. West Virginia is favored by -12 ½ points with the total lined at 159 ½ points. Marshall pulled an upset in their NCAA Tournament opener with the 81-75 victory to Wichita St as a +13 ½ point underdog. Marshall had a good shooting performance hitting 46.7% and made 39.1% from the three point line. West Virginia faced Murray St in their NCAA opening round and won 85-68. Mountaineers shot 51.6% in the victory then held the Racers to 41.2%. Marshall is a team that takes a high volume of three pointers and West Virginia has had trouble defending the three point shot.
