The NCAA Tournament will conclude the Sweet 16 with four big college basketball games scheduled for Friday as the competition will whittle down the field to the Elite 8 by night’s end.

The South Region will feature two Sweet 16 NCAA Tournament games televised by CBS at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

At 7:15PM Eastern Time it will be the Xavier Musketeers from the Atlanta 10 conference battling the Baylor Bears from the Big 12 conference. Baylor is favored by -6 points with the over under lined at 140 points. Baylor faced soft competition in the opening rounds with wins against Colorado and South Dakota St. Xavier eked out a close win late against Notre Dame in the second round.

Immediately following on CBS will feature a major revenge game as the Indiana Hoosiers out of the Big Ten conference will face the Kentucky Wildcats from the SEC. Kentucky is out for revenge as it was the Hoosiers with the much publicized buzzer beating 73-72 home win against the Wildcats. Kentucky is a -9 point favorite with a total of 147 points.

The action from the Midwest region will be contested at the Edward Jones Dome in St Louis Missouri and will be televised by TBS.

It all gets started at 7:45PM Eastern Time as the Cinderella entrant the Ohio Bobcats from the MAC conference will do battle with the North Carolina Tar Heels from the ACC conference. Ohio Bobcats beat two good teams to make the Sweet 16 with wins against Michigan and South Florida. The Tar Heels are favored by -10 ½ points with an over under of 142 ½ points. North Carolina has issues with guard Kendall Marshall who suffered a broken wrist on Sunday. The Tar Heels pounded Vermont and Creighton to get to the Sweet 16.

The second half of the doubleheader in the Midwest region has the North Carolina St Wolfpack from the ACC conference battle the Kansas Jayhawks from the Big 12 conference. North Carolina St was tested in their first two games of their NCAA Tournament with impressive wins against San Diego St and Georgetown. The Jayhawks have the site advantage and are favored by -8 points against the Wolfpack with a total of 143 points. Kansas crushed Detroit in the second round and struggled by Purdue Boilermakers 63-60 as a -8 point favorite in the Round of 32.
