The current odds at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has Tristan Wirfs favored at -155 odds to be the first linemen selected. The Iowa offensive tackle is one of the highest rated linemen by the draft experts. He exits after three seasons with the Hawkeyes. Wirfs was reliable only missing one game in his college career. The tackle is coming off a strong NFL combine impressing the NFL scouts with his pass protecting skills and speed in his movement. At 20 years old he is young battling the best edge rushers in the league. He has good size as Wirfs is nearly six foot five inches tall weighing 320 pounds.

Second in the wagering is Jedrick Wills bringing back +150 odds. The Alabama offensive tackle played three years at the school started in his final two seasons. Wills impressed the scouts with his strength holding his ground well against defensive pass rushers and in the run games.

Next is Mekhi Becton at +350 odds. The Louisville Cardinals offensive tackle started three seasons at the school and can start on the left and right side. What got the scouts attention on film was his ability to power through defenders in the run game. Experts would like to see Becton work on his footwork.

Longshot in the betting is Andrew Thomas bringing back +2000 odds. Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle exits after three seasons at the school. Thomas can line up on left or right side. Scouts like to see improvement on his footwork and technique.

In the mock drafts the first offensive lineman is expected to be selected with the eighth pick to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals first round pick last year was quarterback Kyler Murray. In his rookie campaign Murray was sacked 50 times. As an undersized quarterback he cannot take that kind of punishment moving forward.

The Cleveland Browns with the tenth pick in the draft will be in the market for an offensive lineman. Team must protect Baker Mayfield and with better protection will help his confidence. Browns made a major move in free agency to bring in former Tennessee Titans right tackle Jack Conklin but need someone to line opposite.
