The action begins at 4:30PM Eastern Time on NFL Network as the Kansas City Chiefs are home to the Seattle Seahawks. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Kansas City Chiefs favored by -2 ½ points with the total set at 35 ½ points. The Seattle Seahawks under Pete Carroll were covering several point spreads during the preseason. That came in part to the winning culture that was built by Carroll and the depth he had with his rosters in Seattle. He had some good depth at the quarterback position. In 2016 the backups behind Russell Wilson will be inexperienced. The backup is rookie TCU Horned Frog Trevone Boykin along with one year pro Jake Heaps who has never taken a regular season snap. With the retirement of Marshawn Lynch the Seahawks are looking for a featured back in 2016. The Chiefs have a total of five quarterbacks in camp. Nick Foles is the backup behind Alex Smith with Tyler Bray, Aaron Murry and Stanford rookie Kevin Hogan competing for playing time.

On ESPN TV at 8PM Eastern Time the LA Rams are back home in the Coliseum to battle the Dallas Cowboys. LA is favored by -4 ½ points with the total coming in at 35 ½ points. The Cowboys have a total of three quarterbacks in camp as third string Kellen Moore suffered a broken leg last week. Tony Romo will see limited snaps until he gives way to third round pick Dak Prescott. The Mississippi St rookie faced the toughest defenses in college battling SEC teams. He has running ability but the question remains if he can successfully read defenses to throw the football downfield. The Rams are taking baby steps with first round pick Jared Goff. LA will start veteran Case Keenum with Jared Goff seeing action as the backup. Also on the roster is second year man Sean Mannion who was an accurate strong armed quarterback in his college years at Oregon St.
