The New York Jets will have their hands full on defense as they face the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jets and Eagles will get things started from New York at 7PM Eastern Time and NFL Network has the coast to coast broadcast. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road side Philadelphia Eagles the -5 point favorite with the over under line set at 44 points. Philadelphia Eagles opponents have had great difficulty defensively matching up with their high flying offense. The Eagles have won and covered the point spread in all three preseason games this season. In week one of the preseason the Eagles produced 36 points at home against the Colts. In week two the team faced the Baltimore Ravens at home and produced 40 points. Last week Philadelphia took their act on the road for the first time in the preseason and played at Green Bay. The Eagles produced 39 points on the Packers in the first half with many of the first string defense on the field for Green Bay. Issue was the Eagles were scoreless in the second half using players who most likely will play in most of this game against the Jets. After a bad showing offensively in a week one loss at Detroit the Jets have shown improvement in a win at home to Atlanta and last week as the designated road team at the Giants.

At 10PM Eastern Time over NFL Network it will be the San Francisco 49ers at home to meet the San Diego Chargers. The 49ers are lined as a -3 point favorite with the total set at 37 points. The Chargers have not produced much offense in their first three games of this preseason. They surpassed 20 points just once. The 49ers have been outgained in all three games thus far in the exhibition season. They are 1-2 with the only win coming at home winning 23-6 in week two against Dallas.
