The action begins at 1PM Eastern Time on FOX TV as the New York Giants will be home to the Chicago Bears. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road team Chicago Bears favored by -3 ½ points with the total set at 44 ½ points. Bears hold a game and a half lead on the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North division. Team is 3-2 on the road as they come off the 23-16 road win at Chicago on Thanksgiving aided by an interception return for the game winning touchdown. Bears have won five straight. Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is day to day with a shoulder injury. Chase Daniel filled in last week and led the Bears to the win. Giants are 3-8 and will not finished the 2018 regular season with a winning record. Best they can do is 8-8. Their two game win streak was broken in a 25-22 road defeat at Philadelphia as the Giants blew a fourth quarter lead.

On FOX TV at 4:25PM Eastern Time the New England Patriots will host the Minnesota Vikings. New England is favored by -5 with the total set at 49 ½ points. New England came off their bye week and moved the football for 498 yards in their 27-13 win to move to 8-3. Vikings bounced back from their loss to the Bears to post the 24-17 home victory to Green Bay to remain in the playoff hunt.

Sunday Night Football on NBC TV will feature two AFC playoff contenders as the Pittsburgh Steelers will be home to the LA Chargers. Pittsburgh is favored by -3 ½ points with the total set at 52. Chargers enter play at 8-3 following a 45-10 home win to Arizona for their seventh win in eight games. LA will be without running back Melvin Gordon with a knee injury. Chargers have run well this season for five yards per run. Without Gordon the concern is for quarterback Phillip Rivers to try and do too much and force passes which leads to mistakes. Steelers had their six game win streak snapped in a 24-17 road defeat at Denver. Pittsburgh loses due to four turnovers and a -4 margin. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 462 yards and a touchdown but two interceptions.
