Kansas City after a 4-0 start to the season the team has lost two straight all at home. The losing streak started with a 19-13 home loss to Indianapolis then last week the team dropped at 31-24 decision to the Houston Texans. KC issues have come on the defensive side of the football. In their past four games the team has allowed 180 yards or greater on the ground. Team has had their share of injuries. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill returned last week, and Sammy Watkins is listed as questionable with his hamstring which forced him to miss last weeks game. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been playing through an ankle injury. Chiefs offense is posting 422 yards per game. Their run game has struggled on the season as the team is averaging only 80 yards per game with 4 yards per run attempt.

Denver began the season dropping their first four games. They notched their first victory of the season two weeks ago at the LA Chargers 20-13. Then last week the Broncos moved their win streak to two games with the 16-0 home win to the Tennessee Titans. Denver had a very good defensive performance in the win holding the Titans to only 204 yards and had seven quarterback sacks. Despite the wins the past two weeks the Broncos offense is still sputtering. Denver in their win against Tennessee gained only 270 yards. On the season the Broncos are posting only 339 yards per game with 223 in the passing game. With the immobile Joe Flacco at quarterback the Broncos are surrendering 2 ½ sacks per game. Kansas City has won seven straight games against Denver with the Broncos last win coming in September of 2015.
