The action Saturday gets started at 4:35PM Eastern Time on NBC TV as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Indianapolis Colts. Cowboys put on a good defensive effort in their 24-22 win at home in the Wildcard game to the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas is 3-5 straight up on the road this season. Rams are 7-1 at home with a loss to the Eagles. In their meeting last year LA went into Dallas for the 35-30 win with both offenses generating over 400 yards. LA lost to three playoff teams over their past eight games.

Sunday January 13th features at 1PM Eastern Time on CBS TV the New England Patriots home to the LA Chargers. New England is favored by -4 ½ points with the over under of 47. Chargers built up a 23-3 fourth quarter lead on the Ravens and held on for the 23-17 win as they gave up two late touchdown passes. Chargers forced a Lamar Jackson turnover late to preserve the victory. New England earned a first round bye with an 11-5 record. They are a perfect 8-0 at home but 3-5 on the road. Patriots offense does move the football for 393 yards this season with 266 passing and a 65.1% completion rate.

At 4:40PM Eastern Time on FOX it will be the New Orleans Saints hosting the Philadelphia Eagles. New Orleans is favored by -8 ½ points with the over under of 51. Philadelphia continued their playoff success winning a playoff game as an underdog by beating Chicago on the road 16-15. A partially blocked field goal in the closing seconds preserved the win. Eagles were blown out at New Orleans earlier in the season 48-7 but that was with Carson Wentz under center. The Philadelphia four game win streak was with Nick Foles at quarterback and includes three wins against playoff teams. New Orleans has the best record in the NFL at 13-3. Their defense has played exceptionally well allowing just 22.1 points per game.
