Winnipeg tied the game at 1-1 early in the second period but the lead was lost 12 seconds later as the Jets allowed a goal by Golden Knight James Neal. Winnipeg was aggressive offensively in the final period. Jets had 15 shots on net but could not find the equalizer down one goal for much of the third period. Winnipeg had their chances but couldn’t get one past Fleury on two breakaway opportunities.
