In this battle between Eastern conference finals contenders the Canadians are 2-0 against the Red Wings this season with one win coming in overtime. Detroit enters play losers of two straight after a home defeat in overtime to Winnipeg on Saturday.

The surprise Calgary Flames will be home hosting the Boston Bruins at 9PM Eastern Time on NHL Center Ice Package. Calgary is currently clinging to the eighth seed in the West. The Flames are winners of five of their past seven games after a 3-2 home victory to Vancouver on Saturday. Boston is losers of three straight and holds the 8th seed in the East. They began their five game road trip with a 5-2 road defeat at Vancouver on Saturday.

The late night game out west starts at 10:30PM Eastern Time on NHL Center Ice Package as it has two playoff contenders going head to head as the red hot LA Kings are home to the Tampa Bay Lightning. With 27 games left the Kings are holding the 10th seed out of the playoffs three points behind eighth seeded Calgary Flames. LA is winners of four straight after a 3-1 home victory to Washington on Saturday. It is a nice year for Tampa Bay as they hold the third seed in the East with 74 points. The Lightning is on a back to back after playing at San Jose on Sunday.
