The home team has won the previous four meeting in this series. Last year in the game played at Arizona it was the Cardinals with the 20-16 home victory in a game played in week one as a +1 point underdog. It was Russell Wilson’s first start as a pro and it came on the road. Seattle responded at home in the rematch with a 58-0 victory in early December.

Seattle after suffering their first loss of the season at the hands of Indianapolis on the road returned home to face the Tennessee Titans and came away with the 20-13 victory as a -11 point betting favorite. They outgained the Titans by 181 yards but the Seahawks were inefficient in the red zone converting just twice in five tries inside the twenty. The margin of victory would have been greater but Tennessee was able to return a blocked field goal attempt by Seattle for a 77 yard touchdown. Arizona is 3-3 on the season and a much improved team from a year ago. They are a perfect 2-0 at home with wins against both Carolina and Detroit. Carson Palmer has made some plays for the team in the passing game but is making far too many mistakes. He has seven touchdown passes but 11 interceptions on the season. He has had two or more picks in four straight games and the team has survived going 2-2 in that span on account of the play of their defense.
