After getting our first taste of Interleague play last weekend, MLB is back to normal for Memorial Day Weekend with the schedule boasting a number of must see match-ups.

For starters, a couple of division leaders will go at it as the Los Angeles Angels and Chicago White Sox go toe-to-toe for a three game set starting Friday evening. Both clubs met last week in Anaheim for a four game set, and each club escaped the series with a pair of victories. Joe Saunders and his 7-1 mark and 2.48 ERA is set to get the start in the series opener against Gavin Floyd whose already flirted with no-hitters on a couple of occasions this season, while Game 2 squares Jered Weaver and John Danks off against one another for the second time in 10 days. The series finale will be aired live for ESPN’s Sunday night telecast, and it to will see a rematch of last weeks battle between John Lackey and Jose Contreras won by the White Sox, 6-1. Look for a playoff type atmosphere at US Cellular Field as both clubs come in playing some excellent ball.

In the National League, the AL West leading Arizona Diamondbacks will head north from Florida to Atlanta, GA to take on the red-hot Braves for a four game extended weekend set. Arizona enters the series 5-5 their L/10, but the surging Braves have won 7 of their L/10 after just taking it to the NY Mets in their four-game set.
