The Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers head into their weekend series against one another with first place once again on the line in the NL West. However this time, each club boasts a +.500 record with Arizona sitting at 55-52 and the Dodgers sitting one-game over .500 at 53-52. Arizona currently holds a one-game lead over the Dodgers for the top spot in the division. The Diamondbacks have played much better ball since the break winning eight of its 12 overall games, while the Dodgers managed to exact that mark with an 8-4 record of their own.

In their eight games played against one another this season, the D’Backs have held the upper hand winning five of the eight meetings. That said; the Dodgers picked up a series win in Arizona right after the break.

The D’Backs head into the final leg of their current road trip winners in five of six overall taking both series at San Francisco and San Diego. They currently sit five-games under .500 at 25-30 on the road, and have cost their betting backers upwards of $600 on the season. The Dodgers also come in winners in five of their last six with home series wins over the Washington Nationals and San Francisco Giants, and currently boast a 30-25 mark within Chavez Ravine that’s cost the MLB wagering public a few hundred bucks overall.
