Week 12 of the Arena Football League has arrived, and there are some fantastic match-ups on tap for this weeks slate as teams jockey for playoff positioning.

The (6-4) New York Dragons welcome in the (5-5) Georgia Force to the Nassau Coliseum on Sunday, May 18 at 3 p.m. ET in a National Conference match-up. The Dragons have been installed one-point home favorites with the ‘total’ set at 108. This match-up pits Georgia’s 3rd ranked offense averaging 58 PPG against NY’s 3rd ranked defensive unit only allowing its opponents to score a shade under 48 PPG. New York can extend its winning streak to six games for the first time since 1996 with a win.

The (8-2) Chicago Rush hosts the (4-7) Los Angeles Avengers at Allstate Arena in an American Conference match-up on Russell Athletic ESPN Arena Football Monday, May 19 at 8 p.m. ET. Chicago became the first team to clinch a playoff berth for the 2008 postseason with San Jose’s victory over Arizona in Week 11 and can secure its second consecutive Mitsubishi Motors Central Division title with a win coupled with a loss by Colorado on Saturday. Chicago has been installed lofty 17-point home favorites with the ‘total’ set at 110 for their fourth meeting with the Avengers in the last two seasons.
