Week 13 of the Arena Football League has arrived, and there are some fantastic match-ups on tap for this weekends slate as teams continue to jockey for playoff positioning.

The (9-2) Dallas Desperados pay a visit to Amway Arena, otherwise known as “The Jungle”, to lock horns with the (8-4) Orlando Predators. Dallas has won 37 of its last 43 regular-season contests and can establish its fourth 10-win season in the team’s seven-year history with a win. A victory, coupled with losses by New York and Tampa Bay, will clinch the Desperados third consecutive playoff berth. Orlando is 4-1 SU and ATS at home this season and can maintain a one-half game lead ahead of New Orleans for first place in the Southern Division with a win. The Predators are in first place after Week 12 for the first time since 2006, when they advanced to ArenaBowl XX. The all-time series is tied 3-3 with Dallas having won the last three.

The (7-4) New Orleans VooDoo fresh off their “bye” week will host the (6-5) Georgia Force for a crucial Southern Division match-up that will be aired live Monday night on ESPN2 HD at 8 ET. A Georgia victory would tie the Force with New Orleans for second place within the division, and it would also mark the Force’s first four game winning streak of their 2008 campaign. The VooDoo is one of only two teams undefeated at home (5-0 SU & ATS), and can stay within one-half game of Orlando for the division lead with a victory. Georgia leads the all-time series 5-2 and can sweep the VooDoo for the third consecutive season with a victory Monday night.
