It all gets started over on TNT with the LeBron James and his red hot Cleveland Cavaliers playing host to Chris Paul and the LA Clippers. The Cavaliers and Clippers get started from Cleveland at 8PM Eastern Time. The Clippers are currently sitting in the fifth seed in the Western conference and trails the top seeded Golden St Warriors by 6 ½ games. LA suffered through a terrible loss on Monday night as they blow a nine point lead late in a 102-100 road loss at Brooklyn. The Clippers weakness roared its ugly head as they failed at the free throw line missing 17 of their 25 shots. Net head coach Lionel Hollins from his days with the Memphis Grizzlies knows the Clippers very well and targeted poor free throw shooter DeAndre Jordan to send him to the free throw line. Jordan went 2 of 12 from the line in the loss. The team is 2-2 on this road trip with the other loss coming at New Orleans with wins against Utah and San Antonio. Cleveland is a hot team right now as they have won 11 straight games after their 13 point home win to Philadelphia on Tuesday.

The late night game out west features the Portland Trailblazers on their home court playing the Phoenix Suns starting at 10:30PM Eastern Time over TNT. Portland returned home Tuesday after a 0-3 road trip with losses at Cleveland, Atlanta and Milwaukee. They squeaked out a one point home win to Utah to move to 33-16 on the year this season. Phoenix is 28-22 and is holding the eighth seed in the Western conference by one game over the ninth seeded New Orleans Pelicans. Oklahoma City is lurking in the 10th seed three games back of Phoenix.
