The doubleheader on Tuesday will get underway with two Eastern conference playoff teams at the Brooklyn Nets will hit the road to face the Miami Heat. The Nets and Heat will get underway from Miami at 8PM Eastern Time and TNT will provide the coast to coast broadcast. The Brooklyn Nets have had good success this season against the Miami Heat. The Nets and Heat have gone head to head three other times this year and Brooklyn has won each time. Each game has been very close. Back on November 1st it was Brooklyn posting the 101-100 home win. They hosted Miami on January 10th and it was the Nets winning in overtime 104-95. Miami was out to revenge those two losses back on March 12th but the Nets overcame the Heat in yet another close win as Brooklyn earns the 96-95 victory as a +9 point underdog. The Nets are chasing both the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls for the fourth seed in the Eastern conference. Heading into Sunday’s action the Nets were 2 ½ games behind both teams with just six games remaining to be played. Brooklyn just needs to catch one of them to secure the fourth seed. Time is running out. With Indiana in a slump it allowed Miami to take a one game lead in the loss column heading into Sunday for the top spot in the Eastern conference.

The late night game will feature two high scoring teams when the Houston Rockets hit the road to battle the LA Lakers. This contest will begin from Staples Center in Los Angeles at 10:30P Eastern Time and TNT will deliver the coast to coast broadcast. The Houston Rockets are the second best scoring team in the NBA as they put up 106.8 points a game ranking second best in the NBA. LA averages 102.6 points a game and plays no defense. It should be a very high scoring game here.
