The doubleheader on TNT will get started with the battle of New York as the Knicks will face the Brooklyn Nets. The teams begin from Brooklyn at 8PM Eastern Time on TNT. Unfortunately for the New York Knicks they will have to play this game for pride as they have been eliminated from the playoffs. Even though the Knicks were eliminated from the playoffs they played with pride on Sunday night and were able to defeat the Chicago Bulls 100-89 and cover as a +3 ½ point underdog. Brooklyn Nets quest for the Atlanta Division title went up in smoke on Friday night as the club fell to the Atlanta Hawks and will be relegated to a fifth or worse seed. That means no home court advantage for Brooklyn in the first round of the playoffs. It looks like the Nets will face either the Toronto Raptors or Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs. Chicago held a one game lead over Toronto as they took the court on Sunday. A lot of question marks hover over the New York Knicks. Carmelo Anthony will be a free agent and it will be his final audition in the 2013-14 season over national television to showcase his talent for the rest of the clubs who will be looking to contract the All Star to a long team deal.

The doubleheader game out west will feature two Western conference squads as the playoff bound LA Clippers will host the Denver Nuggets. The teams get started from Staples Center in Los Angeles at 10:30PM Eastern Time on TNT TV. The Clippers look to be locked into the third seed in the Western conference and will most likely face the Golden St Warriors in the first round of the playoff. Denver has been long eliminate from playoff contention and are looking to complete a disappointing season under first year head coach Brian Shaw on a positive note.
